⚙️ Core Features Explained

1. Time Offset Calculation (Date/Timestamp Offset)

Description: Based on a specified base date or timestamp, performs addition/subtraction of years/months/days/hours/minutes/seconds to quickly calculate the offset date/time and corresponding second/millisecond timestamps.

How to use: Switch to "Time Offset" tab → Enter base info (date time or timestamp) → Set offset rules (value + unit + add/subtract) → Click calculate button.

Use cases: Calculate contract expiration dates, event deadlines, timestamp offset calculations in development, etc.

2. Date Interval Calculation (Core Time Interval Calculator Feature)

Description: Enter start/end dates or timestamps to accurately calculate the time interval between two points, with multi-dimensional display and timezone selection.

How to use: Switch to "Date Interval" tab → Enter start/end times → Select timezone, optional business day filter → Click calculate button.

Use cases: Calculate employee tenure, project duration, days between events, etc.

3. Time Expression Calculator (Arithmetic with Parentheses)

Description: Supports standardized time expression calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, multi-duration addition, and mixed operations with parentheses.

How to use: Switch to "Time Expression" tab → Enter time expression in standard format (no spaces) → Click calculate button to get results.

Format rules: Only supports h(hours)/m(minutes)/s(seconds) units, only supports +/-/*/ operators, use English parentheses ( ).

📝 How to Use

  1. Select the desired function tab: Time Offset / Date Interval / Time Expression
  2. Enter date time or timestamp in the corresponding tab (supports two-way synchronization)
  3. Set calculation parameters (offset value, timezone, business day filter, etc.)
  4. Click the calculate button, the system will automatically complete the calculation and display results
  5. Click the copy button next to any result to copy the data with one click
  6. To recalculate, modify the input parameters and click the calculate button again

⚠️ Important Notes

  • The tool is completely free, no installation required, and can be used directly in any browser
  • Timestamps only support 10-digit (seconds) and 13-digit (milliseconds) formats
  • Business day calculation only excludes weekends, not public holidays
  • Date offset follows natural calendar rules (e.g., Jan 31 + 1 month = last day of February)
  • Time expression calculation does not allow spaces, please ensure standard format
  • It is recommended to copy important calculation results promptly to avoid accidental loss
  • If fullscreen functionality is restricted, please check browser permission settings

❓ FAQ

  • Q: Timestamp cannot be converted?
A: Please check the timestamp length - only 10-digit (seconds) and 13-digit (milliseconds) timestamps are supported.
  • Q: Time expression calculation shows an error?
A: Check for spaces, ensure units are h/m/s, operators are correct, and parentheses are English parentheses.
  • Q: Does business day calculation exclude public holidays?
A: The current version only excludes weekends, public holidays are not supported yet.
  • Q: Why does the copy function sometimes fail?
A: The copy function is based on the Clipboard API. Please use in normal browser mode or HTTPS environment.
  • Q: Does it support dates before 1970?
A: Yes, but we recommend using modern browsers like Chrome or Edge for best compatibility.
